Post Operation Care

After an operation, patients can recover at home with the peace of mind and security of being under professional nursing care. Our team educates patients, and their families, monitors for complications, provides nursing care, and communicates and coordinates among all providers involved. 

Services Provided in our Post-Operation Package: 

• Initial assessment post-operation, and assessments in progress with each visit 

• Review of relevant medical history and current physician orders  

• Management of care during the recovery process including in-person visits and continued phone consultations as needed 

• Coordination of care among all providers involved to ensure continuity of care, and to bridge any potential gaps in care 

• Monitoring of infections and other complications 

• Patient and family education on the importance of nutrition, hydration, and signs and symptoms of potential complications and infections 

• Provides continued education and assistance with range of motion and physical rehabilitation exercises  

• Pain and comfort management 

• Light housework and meal preparation
